Stick System for Behavior:We have started a new system in Kindergarten. The children each have their name on a pocket that is posted on a wall. Upon repeated inappropriate behavior, despite a verbal warning, students will remove a stick from inside their pocket. If a student has zero (0) sticks at the end of the day, they will not earn a STAR on their behavior chart. Please remember, sticks are visual reminders that a particular behavior needs to change. Also, be aware that violent behavior (pushing, hitting, etc.) is a two (2) stick offense.
